The Atlas Method

How Atlas actually works

AI coaching that gets sharper every session.

It starts with a 15-20 minute behavioral interview. Not a questionnaire, a conversation: your trading style, your rules, your risk management, your triggers, and the beliefs that surface when things go wrong. From there you map yourself at your best, average, and worst, chart your destructive patterns beat by beat, and put words to the trader you're becoming. When a worst-state thought or a familiar first beat shows up mid-session, Atlas names it in your own words and reminds you who you said you're becoming. By the time you start trading, Atlas already knows how your sessions fall apart. From then on, it's in the room for every session.

Atlas measures two things side by side: how you behaved and how you performed. Your Trader Discipline Score grades your execution every session across five categories: risk management, process compliance, emotional regulation, session structure, and self-awareness. It isn't a P&L score. You can grade high on a red day and low on a green one. Alongside it, your trade journal tracks the real numbers: win rate, average win/loss, and P&L over time. And the bar is you, not a generic standard. Import your trading history to set your baseline, and every session measures against your own reality. Pre-market alignment sets your plan and risk limits, post-session reviews surface what to focus on next, and weekly goals turn that into a target Atlas measures you against.

A deterministic risk engine runs underneath every session, watching signals you'd miss in the moment: trade frequency creeping above your baseline, position size drifting up, losses stacking, rule violations clustering together. The moment one crosses the line, you get a real-time alert while you can still do something about it. For example: "Your last two positions are double your baseline size." When your risk state shifts, Atlas already knows, and responds before the pattern completes. And on Pro, Atlas doesn't wait for you to log the trade. Guardian captures your entries and exits straight from your trading platform as they happen. Atlas starts with awareness. A reflective question. A pattern observation. If the risk builds and violations compound, it gets more direct: breathwork prompts, cooldown timers, pause protocols. The kind of honest friction that protects your capital when your emotions are trying to spend it. If you feel something is off before Atlas does, you can manually put yourself in a cooldown or a hard lockout. You can even configure them to fire automatically based on your risk parameters and violations. Guardian blocks your trading platform, and any other site you add, until the cooldown clears. You set the boundaries. Atlas holds them. Guardian enforces them.

Every trade you log, every reflection you write, every weekly check-in, every monthly evaluation. All of it gets synthesized into a living profile of who you are as a trader. When you sit down for a weekly or monthly reflection, Atlas isn't working from your memory of the week or your feelings about it. It pulls your actual numbers: P&L, discipline score, and behavioral patterns side by side, so the conversation is grounded in what really happened. A losing week with a rising discipline score reads differently than a green week built on broken rules, and Atlas knows which one you just had. Your profile evolves with you: your best, average, and worst states, your mapped patterns, and the vision you wrote all update as you grow, and StillEdge tracks that evolution from day one. You can watch your discipline climb week over week and see your own numbers prove that process drives profits. The Atlas you talk to three months from now is sharper than the one you met on day one, and the coaching is unmistakably about you, not traders in general.

Guardian doesn't just suggest. It enforces.

Most coaching tools talk to you. Guardian takes the keyboard away.

When your behavior crosses into self-destruction territory: revenge sizing after losses, forcing trades, trading outside your plan. Guardian blocks your trading platform in your browser. You physically can't take the trade.

It sounds extreme. That's the point.

If discipline alone could've kept you from blowing up, you wouldn't have blown up. Real friction is the only thing that works in the moment your rules stop feeling real.

After Guardian locked me out, I was able to cool down, take a step back, and realize what state of mind I was operating out of. I called it a day, and my account was still alive, rather than saying f*** it and trading unlike my highest-timeframe self.

What Traders Are Saying

The moment they felt the difference.

StillEdge didn't teach them something new. It mirrored back what was already happening, and gave them the awareness to choose differently.

StillEdge is the greatest tool I have ever used and seen in trading. I've taken payouts before, even bigger, but it never had the depth and the certainty of the last few. Life changing.

StillEdge has improved my mental state for trading a lot. I can't even tell you the last time I had a blowup or a tilt day. Guardian is a game changer.

TreyTrey · Futures Trader (1 year) · Beta Tester

I use it every day that I trade. I checked the data: from the day I started StillEdge, my number of trades has never exceeded three, usually one or two. I had an 18-trade day before using StillEdge. Absolutely off the rails.

RyanRyan · Futures Trader (1.5 years) · Beta Tester

I hit my profit goal, and when I was thinking about taking another trade, it prompted me that I'd be violating my rules. If that hadn't been there, I would've fallen victim to my old pattern and taken another trade. Day 1, success.

Really loving how it works during use, and the trade logging system is 🔥. I want to make a lot of different rules for it to pay attention to and call me out on.

Built by a Trader, for Traders

“I built this because I needed it.”

Nick Updike — Founder of StillEdge

I spent years learning strategies, backtesting systems, studying charts. And then blowing through my own rules the moment I sat down to trade live. I'd journal the same mistakes every week. I'd promise myself 'tomorrow will be different.' It wasn't.

The tools I found were designed to analyze what went wrong after the session. Trade journals. Analytics dashboards. Replay software. They were all post-mortems. By the time I reviewed the data, the damage was already done. And I already knew what I'd done wrong anyway. Knowing was never my problem.

I needed something in the room with me during the session. Something that could see my patterns in real time, recognize when I was about to spiral, and say the exact right thing at the exact right moment to help me pause and choose differently.

That thing didn't exist. So I built it.

StillEdge is the coach I wish I'd had during every session I blew up, every funded account I sabotaged, every evening I spent staring at my P&L wondering why I keep doing this to myself. Atlas isn't here to tell you what you already know. It's here to help you act on it, in the moment it actually matters.

At its core, StillEdge isn't about discipline scores or risk engines. It's about learning to trust yourself again. Every session you follow your process is proof that you can. That trust compounds. And eventually, the trader you're becoming isn't someone you're chasing anymore. It's just who you are.

What traders ask before signing up

No. Atlas never tells you what to trade, when to trade, or gives market analysis. It measures your execution quality: whether you followed your plan, managed your risk, and regulated your emotions. Strategy is yours. Behavior change is where Atlas lives.

StillEdge includes a fully functional journal, but journaling on its own is a post-mortem: you review the damage after it's done. The difference is Atlas works during the session, catching patterns as they develop. The journal updates automatically as you trade, takes manual CSV imports from your broker, and lets you journal the entire session. And on Pro, that data feeds the coaching itself, so your reflections are built from your real numbers, not your memory.

Not on Pro. Guardian captures your trades directly from your trading platform (Tradovate, NinjaTrader web, and TopstepX today, with more coming) as you take them. Entries, exits, and P&L flow into your session in real time, and rule violations trigger automatically. That matters more than convenience: the moment you're most likely to skip logging or fudge a trade is mid-tilt, which is exactly when Atlas needs the truth. On Core, you log trades manually. It takes a few seconds, and the pause doubles as a pattern interrupt between trades.

It starts with a deep onboarding conversation about your history, behaviors, and goals. From there you can go deeper: mapping how you think and execute at your best and worst, the exact sequence of your destructive patterns, and the trader you're working to become. Then every session sharpens the picture, the trades you log, your reflections, your discipline scores. The more you use it, the more the coaching is about you specifically, not traders in general.

Yes. Your data is encrypted, Atlas's coaching is private to you, and we never sell your personal data.

That depends on how strict you tell Guardian to be. Enforcement is configurable. There's one honest escape hatch: if a lockout catches you while you're still in an open trade, you can let yourself out exactly once to close the position. Other than that, your trading platform, and StillEdge itself, stays blocked until the cooldown timer ends, or in the case of a lockout, until the session is over. You set the boundary in a calm moment so it still holds when you're not calm, which is exactly when it matters.

Core gives you Atlas's real-time coaching, behavioral monitoring, your Trader Discipline Score, reflections, and the full trade journal, everything you need to start building discipline. Pro is for traders who want Atlas to know them at depth: Guardian's enforced platform blocking, live trade capture straight from your trading platform, voice coaching, your performance map and mapped patterns, drift alerts, monthly evaluations, and Atlas synthesizing your journal data into the coaching. The short version: Core makes you trust StillEdge. Pro makes you need it.
